  1. „Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small you are.“ – Felix Baumgartner

    1. You can keep poisoning kids all you want, Red Bull. But please stop pretending to be some sort of cultural icon, it’s disgusting.

    2. Wait I do a small correction: „Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small you are.“ – Snoop Dog

  2. This is probably one of the best videos on YouTube to date.

    1. +Luke Repsik
I thought the same thing, and now I see someone thought what someone else thought, which is the same thing as I did.

  3. Video of the Day!

October 14, 2012, Felix Baumgartner ascended more than 24 miles above Earth’s surface to the edge of space in a stratospheric balloon. Millions across the globe watched as he opened the door of the capsule, stepped off the platform, and broke the speed of sound while free falling safely back to Earth. Watch this full story edit of the incredible moment that became our Super Bowl ad.

    1. Rick Soloway he weighs more than the air gravity is a lie

  4. the earth looks so beautiful…….until you meet the people lol

  5. All during the free fall, with the exception of that violent spin which had me worried, I couldn’t help but smile and laugh with joy at the sight of this. It’s so dangerous and yet I get a thrill within me thinking of myself being in space and seeing the stars above and the land beneath even if the point is to jump and fall back to that land. I feel such…joy!

    1. The light from the sun reflecting from the earth dulls out the light from the stars. Much like how the light from a city does the same thing.

    2. stars are just light traveling you didnt know that do you lol it was so far stars aint flying above our atmosphere lmao

  6. „Hey babe, come over“
    „Sorry, I’m in space“
    „But my parents are gone“
    *jumps out*

    1. Game Over they’re seeing a tiny fraction of the planet because it heads off into the oblique spheroid!

    2. Zedekus Zule There’s still no atmosphere at 24 miles so he still needed a space suit made a meta materials which would withstand re-entry heat!

    1. Амерекосы ебаный и нехуй ему тут делать нечего

    1. Saunterblugget Hampterfuppinshire sagt:

It was actually me trying to kill myself from all this YouTube drama.

    2. it was a conspiratard jumping to commit suicide when he got all the way there to find out earth isn’t flat

    1. For 1 year and a few month actually :“October 14, 2012, Felix Baumgartner ascended more than 24 miles above Earth’s surface to the edge of space in a stratospheric balloon. “ and the video was released in 2014

    2. Zoxeo LeBonNéné yeah but he said 52 years. Maybe he mixed up the Baumgartner and the kittenger jumps

  7. Am I the only one who would love to do this? I wouldn’t even take money for that. And no matter If I die, this is worth it!

    1. its different when you are up there. ive skydived at 16,000 feet. let me jus say it’s easier said than done

    2. +Trevor Nichols I know you have to control your fall or you are or can die… that’s pretty dangerous

    3. The view is rather nice. But id still piss myslef. I feel safe right here in my bed

  8. Imagine if superman was real. And flying like this everyday and surviving. Or even if we were given the power of flight as a normality in everyday life.

    1. I mean it’s really not that much to ask birds do it. we just need hollow bones and really big breast muscles

    1. Dare Angel you know what would be funny. if he falls and plane hit him as soon as he enters atmospher

    2. cool person Yeah, hilarious. He would fall down and then all you would see is limbs and a huge blood splatter! Hahaha so fun!

    2. guys pls tell me why there is so much continent and so less water? fisheye or not… no ocean there

    3. ProgressivePrestige he waant high enough to see the entire earth, and he was above land. I think that its Australia.

    1. No Ludicrous. You don’t feel great speeds at such high altitudes; it wasn’t the cause. He passed out from the quick rotations in the 1st phase of the freefall, as there was no air friction to stop his body from spinning.

    2. Same happened when he opened the parachute, so i’m pretty sure it’s just some error in the measurement 😛

    3. To me it looks like the heart rate monitor has a glitch – it’s like everytime Felix’s heart gets to 200 bpm, the monitor can’t read it anymore and gives 0. Then his heart goes slightly slower, so the heart rate monitor shows 190-something again – the correct measurement. It does that a few times.

    1. SourDeezl bro its a one foot opening in a door trying to see a giant planet. At some points the view will look flat. But how can you deny all that curve??

    2. Because they have looked into it and realised it’s true.

    3. @Lichtblick ~ It’s been 11 months now…If you have done even a shred of research you should know with fact and without any doubts whatsoever the answer to your question.

    1. GeoX he didn’t, you can even see one of his balls. That’s what he landed on, after all.
